This policy explains how Unfair Dismissal Help handles the information you provide.

What we collect

If you send us a message through the contact form we collect exactly what you type into it: your name, your email address, an optional phone number, and an optional message. We do not ask what happened in your dismissal, when it happened, or which state you are in, because this form is for questions about the site's own content, not for matching you with a lawyer.

Please do not send case documents, medical records or other confidential material through this form. We cannot act on them and have no secure way to hold them.

Why we are allowed to hold it

We rely on your consent, given by choosing to fill in and send the form. You are not required to contact us for any reason, and nothing on this site is withheld if you do not. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing team@unfairdismissalhelp.com.au.

How we use it

We use it to reply to you and, where it leads to one, to make a correction to the site. We do not sell your information, we do not use it to advertise to you, and we do not pass it to a law firm or any other third party. No routing key has been issued for this site's contact form, so a submission does not, and currently cannot, connect you with a lawyer.

Who else handles it

A submission is received by a third-party form-handling service acting on our instructions and delivered to us by email. That service processes the message only to deliver it. Our email is handled by a commercial email provider in the ordinary way.

How long we keep it

We keep a message for as long as it takes to answer it, and where it led to a correction on the site we keep a note of that correction so the change is traceable. If you want your message deleted, ask and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent, by emailing team@unfairdismissalhelp.com.au.
